Clash of Clans have been out for a while now but I feel that it deserves to be reviewed over and over again. Why? Because it is great!

To give you an overview, Clash of Clans is an online multiplayer game where players build a community, train troops and attack other players to earn gold and elixir in order to upgrade or build their defences to protect themselves from attacks of other players. The game also has campaign mode where the player must attack a series of goblin villages with progressing difficulty stages.

You can have a clan or join one and share troops or battle other clans and see to it who wins! You get to have days to prepare for the clan war so during that time, clan members get to share ideas on how to build up the right defences to avoid losing.

The game is not difficult; you need to have patience because upgrading takes a lot of time and even a week! If you are rich, you can skip the waiting part by purchasing gems although it is not favourable to other people. People who keep on buying gems are called “gemers” and they are associated as lazy or even cheaters. As someone who plays the game without purchasing gems, I would definitely feel cheated too when I learn someone is using gems. It’s somehow losing the essence of the game but if its their style then we let them be.

Not only the upgrading part is difficult, the looting is too! As the game is getting more popular, people are getting smarter too. A lot of the defences are difficult to deal with or counter as a lot of information is placed on the web on how to set up the defence.

The game relies on strategy too so if you are good with strategy then this game will be a no brainer for you!

I recommend this game to everyone. You’ll get hooked once you start!
