ANTHILL Fabric Gallery

Annie Tan Lim and her daughter Anya wanted to create a business that would cater to the upscale market while also helping local communities. That is how they established ANTHILL Fabric Gallery, which opened shop in 2010.

It is the first creative social and cultural enterprise in Metro Cebu that celebrates a communal spirit among Flipino artisans, ANTHILL, which stands for Alternative Nest and Trading/Training Hub for Indigenous/Ingenious Little Livelihood seekers, advocates and showcases Filipino hand-loomed fabrics and apply them to a contemporary application and everyday essentials.

Their mission is to preserve and promote our Philippine weaving traditions by applying them in contemporary design to attract younger generation of weavers and weave wearers and provide sustainable livelihood to partner communities.

Products sold at ANTHILL Fabric Gallery, which is located at Gorordo Avenue, include handwoven, hand loomed fabrics, apparel, non- apparel, accessories, plush toys, uniforms, travel accessories, scarves, etc.
