The 1975 is set to release an EP (extended play – or a mini-album of sorts) ahead of their studio album, Music for Cars, which will be released by next year.
Frontman Matty Healy is currently teasing fans with the suggestion that the band is releasing exciting new songs by the end of this year. Healy even posted a direct tweet which says: “Okay – one more EP”, and another fan even noted how Healy promised to make new music in 2017.
Okay - one more EP

When one fan reacted to the tweet by calling Healy a liar, The 1975’s manager Jamie Oborne, replied with “Just wait and see” and “some treats coming”.
