Earlier this week Aerosmith was forced to cancel concert dates of their ‘farewell’ tour after frontman Steven Tyler suffered “unexpected medical issues”. Now reports claim that Tyler had suffered a seizure following the band’s concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil. However, the Boston Globe reports that Tyler is recovering.
The Boston Globe also explained that that Tyler, 69 years old, suffered a seizure after the band’s show. The cause of the seizure is not currently known, the report states. Neither Tyler nor his band have verified the reports.
Tyler himself has not acknowledged what exactly happened this week, although he did confirm that four upcoming shows would be canceled due to a medical issue he described as "not life-threatening." Read their statement below.
