Each of the families of the 22 people killed at Manchester will receive $324,000 (about P16 million each)

Earlier this week, the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund announced that they will be giving $324,000 to each of the families of the 22 people killed at an Ariana Grande concert bombing a few months ago. $324,000 is equivalent to more than 16 million pesos.

A press release from the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund stated that “the payments will ensure the families benefit from the phenomenal outpouring of public support following the attack. The city and the world responded with such extreme kindness, generosity and solidarity in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena attack."

Ariana Grande, whose concert became the unfortunate venue for the terrorist attack, re-released her song One Last Time, along with a cover of the Wizard of Oz track, Somewhere over the Rainbow”, and donated all proceeds from both singles to the victims as well.
