Liam Gallagher, the Oasis frontman we’ve often talked about here on Y101, has revealed that Dave Grohl, once invited him to join Foo Fighters onstage during their Glastonbury headline set last month.
The Britpop icon was hanging out backstage with Foo Fighters before they took to the Stage. Speaking to Beats 1’s Zane Lowe yesterday, Gallagher said Grohl invited him to join the band onstage and perform with them. “He asked me to come on and do a song,” Gallagher said. “I said no, cos I need a bit of rehearsal. I know it’s cool and all that, but I need a rehearsal.”
