The customized psychedelic vehicle has a record player and a refrigerator in the back.
John Lennon once owned a 1964 Rolls-Royce back in the late 60’s. The vehicle got popular because the Beatle customized the look by repainting it in psychedelic colors and placing a record player and a refrigerator in the back.
Now you can see the psychedelic Rolls-Royce on display in a new exhibition in London later this month.
The late Beatles customised Phantom V was purchased by Lennon in December 1964, and he wasted little time in adding extra features to the car. Lennon had to hire a chauffeur to drive the car for him as he didn’t have a driver’s license until February 1965.
The Beatle also he later installed a TV and a rear seat that converted to a bed. See the groovy vehicle below.
