Liam Gallagher on his brother watching U2Image Source:tumblr.com

Back in 1997, Oasis performed as opening acts for U2 during two sold-out nights in the U.S. It was  reported that Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher had a bit of admiration for Bono and his band, with a report saying,"Oasis, so used to being revered on their own terms, play the part of understudies with grace and humility, thanking U2 and the audience for the opportunity to perform”.

10 years later, Liam’s opinion about the Beautiful Day rockers have changed. After being asked by a fan on Twitter if he was going to see U2 live and “catch the support act” – which is brother Noel Gallagher, -  Liam replied: “I’d rather eat my own sh!t than listen to them bunch of beige f#@ks as you were”. He later sent another tweet that simply reads: “Toff rock”. (“Toff” is a derogatory British stereotype for someone with an aristocratic background who exudes an air of superiority.)
