Things are getting unpredictable in the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene this time.
This time, American DJ/ production duo The Chainsmokers desires to collaborate with a bunch of prominent artists and one from their handpick is aimed towards rapper and producer Kanye West.
In a radio show named Fully Charged, the DJ duo talked about a long list of probable artists to collaborate with yet the two seem to “keep saying Kanye West” along the discussion.
"He's a legend. I mean, that guy has sold probably like over three, four hundred million albums", they said.
The prolific duo adds, "From what I hear, he's like one of the nicest guys too out there".
Recent collaborations with Chris Martin, Halsey, Tiesto, Bono, Ryan Tedder, Florida Georgia Line, and more moulded The Chainsmokers present success, and adding Kanye West to that list is may seem possible.
"We ended up becoming pretty good friends with him and he's been one of those people that you can have such a great respect for because they've been in an insanely successful band for so many decades"., the duo explained.
"When you have a question ... its good to have people like that who can just shed some light on the reality of your situation".
The question is: will Kanye respond to the American duo’s request?
