Harry Potter flaps its magical covers to its 20th since its first day of publication!

The seven-series global publishing phenomenon was published by a British single mother author named J.K. Rowling, with about a total of 450 million copies sold across the globe.

On Rowling’s first installment to the series entitled Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (which was later renamed Sorcerer’s Stone for the US market), tells a story of Harrya young boy wizard who is surrounded by a magical cast of supporting characters in an adventure that unfolds his mysterious life.

It both became a success to readers and film enthusiasts!

Seemingly, the HP franchise catered eight movies from its seven published imprints –splitting the last book, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, into movies with two parts.

Although as the series ended on the seventh book, Rowling never stopped scraping new ideas that sooner became an expansion to what it is a book that discusses the ‘pre-Harry Potter era’ with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

For some 80’s peeps and 90’s kids who consider themselves as a Potterrite or a fan, HP is one franchise that brings out the magic within, including the nostalgic feel that it now aged two decades.

Wands up for Harry and J.K. Rowling!
