Taylor Swift Back on SpotifyImage Source:s3.india.com

If you happened to have a Spotify account and you wanted to search up Taylor Swift songs, no searches would come out.

Kinda sad, right?

Now, one of the music streaming service’s apparent critic gives up on her boycott to the company as she returns her music to the streamer public.

Yes, Swift is finally giving up away all her musical content including “1989”, her multi-awarded megahit album. Swifties across the globe were astonished as the singer-songwriter does this unexpected move on Friday midnight.

Reports coming from T. Swift’s management announced that the said decision was meant to mark “1989”on its 10 million sales globally and to certify her commercial success on the United States by selling 100 million singles.

It was then during the year 2014 when the pop sensation refused to release “1989” on Spotify, one of the largest music streaming service when it was also that time when she took off her entire musical catalog.

Spotify was accused by Swift since the service itself also gives access to the advertising-backed non-subscribers: an idea by which she thinks that it devalues the artistry of the artist’s content.

The Swedish streaming company also levelled its defenses to Swift’s accusation by arguing that it was a rare source of growth in the fiery music industry.

As of September 2016, Spotify mentioned that it paid back $5 billion to artists who are copyright holders of their content –making the service a profitable market to signed artists.
