For reasons unknown, Y101’s Bootleg Gold features the rock band from Vegas, The Killers!
Named after a fictional band in a New Order music video, The Killers were indie darlings of the mid-2000’s. The Vegas dance-pop group wrote songs about obsessing over jocks, break-ups, murder and posing the now-famous question, “Are we human or are we dancer?”
The Killers were able to mix melancholic themes, dark lyrics, eclectic tastes and pop hooks in a way that was simply inescapable. Indulge in their music for two straight hours tonight on the Bootleg Gold as we feature the rock-out and sometimes spacey sounds of The Killers.
