The two singers apparently fought over three backup dancers.
During James Corden’s latest Carpool Karaoke segment, Katy Perry was featured on the passenger seat. The two stars did the usual things; sing the guest’s popular hits and explain the meanings behind such hits.
Katy shot down the rumor that I Kissed a Girl was about Scarlett Johansson and explained the beef between her and Taylor Swift immediately after she and Corden sang to Katy’s latest single, Swish Swish, a song which people suspect is a diss track at Swift.
‘Honestly, like, she started it, and it’s time for her to finish it," she told Corden. Apparently Katy asked her back-up dancers, who were on tour with Taylor Swift at the time, to come back to her because she needed them for a new tour. The backup dancers asked Taylor Swift’s people if they could leave, but they got fired instead. Then months later, to the surprise of Katy Perry, Bad Blood came out.
