Damon Albarn invited a fan to sing onstage. The fan replied ‘What should I do?”
This morning, the real life musicians of Gorillaz played an intimate gig at New York City during which Damon Albarn and co. invited a fan that was “tripping balls” to come onstage and sing along.
It was reported that the band played Gorillaz’ new album ‘Humanz’ in full and ended their encore with a rendition of the 2001 classic hit ‘Clint Eastwood’.
Before performing the song though, Albarn asked if an audience member would step in and rap Del The Funky Homosapien’s verse. However, the fan that volunteered soon asked Albarn onstage: “What should I do? I’m tripping balls right now.”
After being told by Albarn to just “hang out”, the fan then proceeded to mime along to the backing track while wearing sunglasses. Watch clips of it below.
It’s also worth to note that Albarn smoked a joint with audience members at the gig.
