12-year old son of Metallica Perform With Korn

Tye Trujillo, looking the part, made his live debut with Korn in Colombia

Talent runs in the family. Case in point, Tye Trujillo, son of famed Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo. The 12-year old boy recently made headlines when the nu metal band Korn announced that Trujillo will join the band. He then made his live debut this week when Korn performed in Colombia during their South American tour.

Tye Trujillo is a member of the group The Helmets and is replacing Korn bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu for a series of dates in Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru.
