The 8th Fast and Furious film has already nabbed a worldwide total of $532.5 million at the box office!
As predicted by critics and analysts all over the world, the eighth edition of the Fast and Furious film series performed hugely in the worldwide box office in its opening weekend. In North America alone it earned $100.2 million.
By the end of the weekend, it ended up earning $532.5 million which is way above initial projections to score the biggest global opening in cinematic history. This marks the third time that a film had earned over $500 million in a single weekend, after Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($529 million) and Jurassic World ($525.5 million)
