Part 2 to ‘Wreck-it Ralph’ is coming: ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’

We can’t wait to see the sequel to the beloved Disney movie Wreck-it-Ralph.

Disney has just dropped the news that the sequel to Wreck-it-Ralph will be coming to theaters next year! According to the teaser Disney posted, the smash-hit animation will hit cinemas on March 9 2018 and it will be titled ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’.

Director Rich Moore recently did an interview regarding the sequel and he said, “To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore,”

“Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know – the internet – but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.”

Fellow director Phil Johnston added: “We’re so excited to be working with Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz, Fix-It Felix and Sergeant Calhoun again, and we have new characters we look forward to unveiling. At the center of this film, as in the first one, is the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope, two once-outcasts, who in each other, found true friendship.”

The first Wreck-it-Ralph has an 86% positive reviews from critics. The movie was about Ralph, a video game villain who wants to be a hero and set out to fulfill his dream, but his quest brings havoc to the whole arcade where he lives. It was a fun movie to watch, and to think the sequel might take place on the internet is pretty exciting!
