Robert Plant offered a rare take on Led Zeppelin‘s influential classic rock “Kashmir” during a guest stint.

Video footage of Robert Plant’s recent rare performance have finally surfaced online. This week at London's Royal Albert Hall, The legendary Zep singer joined violinist Nigel Kennedy to deliver his first-ever full performance of Led Zeppelin classic "Kashmir" without Jimmy Page on guitar.

Plant hasn’t sung this key track from 1975’s Physical Graffiti album since Led Zeppelin’s celebrated reunion at the O2 Arena in London in 2007. More interestingly, Plant has never covered “Kashmir” as a solo artist.

The violinist said after the performance: "Planty is a genuine rock legend and a true musical trailblazer. He's always pushing and challenging himself and immersing himself in music. When we work together it's a combination of power and creativity."
