The singer’s cause of death has now been revealed and confirmed.
It has now been revealed that the phenomenal George Michael died of natural causes, an Oxfordshire coroner has confirmed.
Michael died as a result of a heart and liver disease. The pop star was suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, resulting in his natural passing away.
The singer died aged 53 on Christmas Day at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire because there was a "natural cause of death", the coroner said there was no need for an inquest.
His funeral was delayed after an initial post-mortem examination was deemed to be “inconclusive”. However, a final post-mortem report has now been logged and his body can be released to his family. After three months, his family can now hold a funeral.
