K-Pop girl group Mamamoo have been forced to apologize after performing Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars hit Uptown Funk in blackface makeup.
The Korean group played a show in Seoul at the weekend where they aired a parody video of themselves covering the song while wearing face paint and similar outfits worn in the original Uptown Funk video.
Fans later took to Twitter to express shock at the group’s actions. See a photo below.

Mamamoo have since taken to Facebook to issue a statement in which they apologised for their “insensitive actions” and say that “there is no excuse for what we did”.
