Ed Sheeran rap in new song ‘Eraser’

Your favorite 2017 musician Ed Sheeran has debuted a new song in a live session for SBTV.

The rap-heavy ‘Eraser’ will be featured on his third album ‘÷’ (You can pronounce it as “Divide”) to be released on March 3. Prior to this new track, the singer-songwriter had already released two singles, the number one hit ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Castle On The Hill’.

Sheeran delivered a new ‘F64’ session for SBTV to mark the 10th anniversary of the UK urban music channel and the 7th anniversary of his own first SBTV video.

Meanwhile, in an interview with BBC, Sheeran revealed that has written different versions of every song on his Divide album. When asked to explain how the entire Divide album was constructed, Sheeran said;

I had in my mind what sound should be on what song, and which subject matter would be on which song – so I’d write 10 songs for that [idea].

“So there’s six or seven songs about Suffolk, but Castle On The Hill was the best one. And then there was a bunch of wedding songs, I guess, and Perfect was the best one.”
