Lorde has issued another update on the progress of her much anticipated second album. The New Zealand star released her debut album ‘Pure Heroine’ in 2013 and is expected to drop its follow-up during April-May 2017.
In a new Instagram post marking the birth of her godson, (the son of her best friend of 10 years) Lorde also revealed that she was heading “back to work in the States finishing this record”.
“four weeks ago i was lucky enough to witness the delivery of my beautiful best friend's baby boy. we've been friends for 10 years - i can't really describe to you how emotional and life-changing it was to be part of this with her. had my last cuddle yesterday and now i'm back to work in the states finishing this record, but i thought you might like to meet my perfect godson, oscar robin.”
