As Donald Trump leads in the electoral votes state by state, Canada’s informational website on immigration and citizenship began experiencing repeated outages, presumably due to a surge in traffic!
The Canadian immigration site -- https://t.co/ndxYr5ZaDu -- is currently down, presumably under the strain of unprecedented demand.

According to The Telegraph, searches for the word “emigrate” also jumped in the United States at during their election day.
Presumably, people have been seriously googling “how to move to Canada”. As of 2:00pm Philippine Standard Time, Donald Trump is leading in the electoral votes with 244, while Democratic rival Hillary Clinton only has 215.
The Canadian immigration site crashed. That's not a joke, it actually crashed.
