Just like most of you, I was introduced to Tove Lo back in early 2014, with her hauntingly beautiful song Habits. The original song, as well as the remix from Hippie Sabotage, blew my mind! Lyrically it’s a hazy song of praise to post-breakup debauchery and it’s freaking great.

Tove Lo can offer up shape and personality to this generation’s pop world where she could be written off as too slick or inert, or indistinguishable from all her equally or more competent, spacious, pop peers.
