You won’t believe what Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers called Halsey on Twitter after she praised Lady Gaga.
The Chainsmokers clash with their Closer collaborator Halsey in a bizarre Lady Gaga-related row. During a recent interview with Rolling Stone this week, Alex Pall, one half of the electronic duo, said that he thinks Lady Gaga’s new single Perfect Illusion “sucks”.

Nobody thought that Mama Monster would respond to such futile criticism, but she tweeted her new song A- YO at the two DJ’s, saying “maybe u guys’ll like this 1 better,”-- a move that buuuurns!
Meanwhile, Halsey gave a shoutout to Lady Gaga and cited her as an influence. “Lady Gaga is an icon and forever one of my greatest idols.”, she wrote on Twitter.

Now this is where the Chainsmokers/Halsey clash begins cos now it seems like the two are no longer friends despite working together on the single Closer, a collaboration that brought them to number one.
A fan mentioned to Halsey that Gaga had "dragged" The Chainsmokers in her tweet. Halsey said it wasn't her issue which prompted the offensive tweet from Andrew's account to arrive!
It was quickly deleted, but fans quickly questioned him over screengrabs which began to circulate. We’ll just let the screengrabs do the talking.
