The superstar has confirmed to People magazine that she is indeed expecting her first baby at age 50. "We thank God for our blessing," she said. The magazine shared a photo of Jackson, dressed all in white and sporting her baby bump.
Speculation about her pregnancy surfaced in April when she postponed her Unbreakable tour, saying she wanted to focus on planning a family with her husband, Qatari billionaire Wissam al-Mana.
In an apology video she shared on Twitter at the time, Jackson said "I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour."
She has kept a low profile since then, but was spotted recently shopping at a baby store in London.
People magazine quoted a source close to the Jackson family as saying: "She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well. She actually feels very good about everything."
Congrats to Janet!
