Demi Lovato has revealed that she will take a break from music next year saying, “I am not meant for this business & the media”.
Demi Lovato has had quite a day on Twitter. Earlier on Tuesday (Oct. 4), the artist sent out a series of tweets regarding her controversial new interview with Glamour, in which she called out Taylor Swift and her squad for "tearing Katy Perry down" with the Bad Blood song and video.
Demi was previously friendly with Taylor though she is not a member of the "Bad Blood" singer's social circle at this point. In fact, Demi said the squad concept is ridiculous. "It’s not realistic. And I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment,"
Also don't forget that words can be taken out of context when doing interviews.. still not apologizing for saying what everyone want to say

Now, Lovato has left her fans shocked and saddened by tweeting that she plans to take a break from the industry come 2017.
So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight.. I am not meant for this business and the media ??

Demi isn't the only pop star taking a leave of absence: Fellow Disney Channel alum Selena Gomez recently announced her (temporary) exit as well, due to lupus-related anxiety, panic attacks and depression.
