Twenty One Pilots talk next album at iHeartRadio Music Festival 2016.
Backstage at iHeartRadio Music Festival 2016, Billboard caught up with Twenty One Pilots’ Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun to discuss the status of their next album, the follow-up to 2015’s Blurryface.
The Heathens duo admitted they’re not very far into the album-making process, but they do know the approach they need to take.
"It's just ideas right now," Joseph said.
He then continued “It has to have a narrative. It needs to be a story. So the question is where do we want to take our fans next -- not just with the music, but also the show. We take a lot of pride in our live show."
