He is expecting a baby with his wife Helen Lasichanh. The married couple is expecting their second child.
In October 2013, Williams wed his longtime girlfriend, Lasichanh, in a Miami ceremony with attendees including Usher and Busta Rhymes. The couple share a seven-year-old son named Rocket Man Williams, who inspired the song Rocket's Theme off the soundtrack for the 2010 animated flick Despicable Me.

In a February 2016 interview with Chance The Rapper, also a father, on his Beats 1 show OTHERtone, Pharrell expresses the joys of fatherhood. "I'm gonna tell you, that is the best song that you will ever co-write in your life," he said. "When you think the melody can't get any better, and you think the lyrical content can't get any deeper and any sicker, the bars can't be crazier, it happens all the time."
