Do you guys remember watching cartoons like G.I. Joe, Thunder Cats, and Fantastic Four on Saturday mornings?
If your parents were anything like mine, then they allowed you to wake up early on weekends just to watch cartoons. I remembered watching The Mask: The Animated Series, then right after that was The Transformers, and after that was He-Man. During the early 2000’s, our home CRT televisions was broadcasting cartoons from the 60’s to the 80’s. I had an wondrous experience watching those cartoons and I believe I am one of the last generations to experience watching classic Saturday morning cartoons.
I really have no idea what's going on with the Saturday morning cartoons of modernity. I do know, however, that this new music video from Zeds Dead and Diplo for Blame featuring vocals from Elliphant is as good as any Saturday morning cartoon I used to watch in my childhood. It's rough, full of guns, and kind of looks like a comic book come to life. Dig it below.
