After her group Dice and K9/Mobbstarr achieved national mainstream success through her glossy, sultry voice and unmistakable onstage persona, Hi-C released her debut solo album entitled Body Talk in 2009. The album is a chockfull of songs about love laid out over techno beats that can be best described as the perfect dance record of the decade. This puts Hi-C on a league of her own as the local music business, specifically the pop-world, has long been a boring cycle of balladeers and novelty acts using the same ideas year in and year out. Body Talk was a breath of fresh air for pop fans and a wet dream come true for Hi-C’s loyal fans since the Itsumo days.

The Actress
Being a part of Cinemalaya’s 2007 Best Film Awardee “Tribu The Movie” is no easy feat for the first time actress Hi-C. This was her debut acting stint that involves a steamy kissing scene with one of the protagonists of the movie. Although as Director Jim Libiran would put it, “Hi-C is a natural, she’s very professional and convincing at the same time.” Currently having line up of movie projects. The more reason people should look out for her in soap operas and more movies in the near future. You’ll definitely see more of her in the big screen. The Entrepreneur
2011 she started a clothing line called Tease by Hi-C. The concept is by the name itself, Teasing. In 2013, along with her husband, DiCE, Hi-C started one of the most successful clubs in Cebu City, Club Holic.
