LeAnn Rimes’ new song

The You Light Up My Life singer will return with Remnants, her first album since 2013's Spitfire.

The Grammy-winning singer LeAnn Rimes has revealed another piece of her upcoming 16th studio album Remnants with the latest single, How to Kiss a Boy, a sweeping, piano-driven ballad written by Barry Dean and Lori McKenna, popular country songwriters.

How to Kiss a Boy details the perilous journey from first attraction to one last heartbreaking goodbye. Highlighted by Rimes' powerful, yet poignant delivery, the track offers a promising hint at what Rimes says is a very healing record.

In an interview with Rolling Stone Country, Rimes said of the message of the song, "That's really what I hope people get out of it, is some sense of healing. I'm not attacking anything; it's from a settled point of view. And yes, it is vulnerable. I'm scared to death."

Remnants will be released on October. LeAnn Rimes is famous for singing the songs How Do I Live, I Fall to Pieces, and Can’t Fight the Moonlight.
