Adele’s Face Looks Horrible! (And She’s Sorry About It)
“I'm really really sorry to let anyone down”
It’s easy to forget that successful celebrities like Adele or Angelina Jolie is a mere mortal like the rest of us. But they are, in fact, humans who sometimes get sick days where they look horrible. This week, Adele looks like a mess prompting her to cancel her concert dates in America. The Someone Like You songstress posted an apology video message on her Instagram.
"I can't do my show tonight," she tells her fans through the video, "I'm really, really sorry. I've had a cold for a couple days and I've been pushing through it, and I did my show last night and I loved it. But I pushed too hard and my cold has gotten the better of me."
Adele had to cancel a second show because of her cold, and so it got to be postponed at a later date. Those who can’t attend the new schedule will be refunded.
"I'm really, really, really, really, really sorry to let anyone down. I've enjoyed my tour so much and canceling shows has not been something I want to do, and I've pushed through a lot of things. But I've been trying to sing all morning and warming up and nothing's really happening."
"It's the last thing I want to do, but i have to look after myself. I've got so many more shows to do," she continued. "Have a wonderful evening without me."
