Listen to Chance the Rapper’s Song for the U.S. Olympics Basketball Team

Watch the Chicago rapper perform his new track We the People in a new Rio-themed Nike advert.

Critically acclaimed rapper Chance The Rapper has teamed up with Nike for their “Unlimited” campaign to release a new song for the US Olympics basketball team. The song, entitled We the People, was released to coincide with the ongoing Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Nike are the manufacturers of the US's kit for the Games.

The video, shot in black and white, features Chance performing the new song - which incorporates elements of the American national anthem - against a backdrop of buildings that display huge projections of American basketballers.

"Unlimited Together" is another chapter in Nike's "Unlimited" campaign, which includes "Unlimited Courage" starring Chris Mosier, the first transgender athlete to make it onto a U.S. national team, and "Unlimited Future," an ode to athletes as babies.
