Just in time for Christmas, singer John Legend has confirmed on social media that he and wife, supermodel Chrissy Teigen, are expecting a baby girl.

The All of Me singer very subtly shared the news via Instagram by posting Chrissy’s Vogue Thailand cover with a caption that referred to the couple’s soon-to-be-born child as “our baby girl.” Shortly thereafter, Chrissy also shared the image and news on her own Instagram. 

Teigen showed off her beachy cover shot for the upcoming edition of Vogue Thailand, and revealed in the caption that, just moments after taking that photo, she and her singer-songwriter husband are having a girl. The model wrote in her caption of the Vogue Thailand cover:

Special to me for so many reasons…one being I am SO PROUD to be Thai, so excited to have shot a Vogue cover (a dream, of course) annnnd a couple minutes after this shot, John and I learned we were having our little baby girl!

On Thursday morning, she appeared to reveal another photo from her Vogue Thailand shoot, placing a heart emoji beside the magazine's handle in her Instagram caption.

It was in October of this year that Chrissy first made public the news that she and her husband of two years were expecting their first child together. As for naming the baby girl, it remains to be seen if Teigen chooses to follow the advice of Today News’ very own Wrangler. Sounds good to us!
