The Zulueta Bridge can be found along Zulueta Street in Barangay Parian. The bridge, made of coral stone, also acts as a gateway through Cebu’s Heritage Museum. Here’s a picture of the tiny bridge.
The Zulueta Bridge is made of coral stones, the same ones used on old churches. Zulueta Bridge is claimed to be the oldest-built bridge in the city, but the marker is blank. The brass plate engraved with its story, probably, found its way to a scrap yard.
It’s a truly underappreciated piece of historic architecture that we always ignore. The Zulueta Bridge is also considered one of the oldest Spanish stone bridges in Cebu.
