Here's a recap of the most visited and talked-about destinations in the city for this year.

cebus-best-1Sirao Flower Farm

All of a sudden, your friend's Facebook profile pictures feature them in a sea of flowers. Dubbed as the mini-Amsterdam garden of Cebu, the Sirao Flower Farm is located at the mountain barangay of Sirao high up north from the hectic traffic of the city. Although I haven't had the chance to be there myself, seeing the pictures made the farm a must-see for everyone. It's a shame though, because of the overflow of visitors, the celosia flowers have become torn and trampled. Because of this the owner decided to close the farm for the meantime because of harvest and rehabilitation.

The Outlets ExpansionThe Outlets Expansion

The Outlets at Pueblo Verde although located outside Cebu City, has always been a shopping destination for consumers that want retail brands at discounted prices. This year the establishment has introduced its expansion of a bigger wing featuring established international brands such as Onitsuka Tiger, Oakley Vault, Asics Outlet; Comfit, Casio/G-Shock; and Skechers among many others. This year has also witnessed the opening of new Pigafetta, Big Flat Bread, Zubuchon, Manggahan Restobar branches.

SM Seaside City CebuSM Seaside City Cebu

This year has seen a major change in the city's retail industry. Major establishments have expanded and we've seen few most-awaited brands open their first stores. But nothing beats the opening of one of the biggest malls in the world. The SM Seaside City Cebu has got everyone talking and resulted into a massive traffic jam that lasted for hours. Although several merchants are yet to open as of this writing, the mall never fails to welcome the sea of visitors on a daily basis. Note-worthy places to go on your visit are the SM Cinema Director's Club, the Ice Skating Rink and the car wing featuring high end makes such as Bentley, Porsche, and BMW.
