I am not much of a lover for Italian food but when I tasted Michelangelo’s food, I was instantly addicted.

Italian food is usually too heavy for me. The pasta and the cream sauce are typically too much for me. Italian food tastes great but I usually feel sick afterwards; however, Michelangelo changed the way I see and taste (even eat) Italian food.

Their menu might be a bit expensive for the ones who do not have plans to spend some extra cash for dinner but let me tell you, every peso was worth it. I was hesitant at first since I did not have much money but I am glad I took the risk. THE FOOD WAS PERFECT.

I had a pesto since I never had one before and it was a lot better than how I expected it to taste. The combination was just perfect and the aftertaste was the highlight. It was said that if a pesto did not have that after-taste, it was a “fake”. The next time I order a pesto in some restaurants, I’ll look for that after-taste.

My other friends had their own orders such as carbonara, Gnocchi and Fresh Pasta with Black Truffle Sauce – all of them were great and I felt like I was in heaven. The area manager, Miss Sheena Sarmiento, was very kind and offered us wine. It was one of the best dining experiences I had.

Another thing I loved about the food in Michelangelo is that I didn’t feel stuffed after. It seemed more like a light but hearty meal which was great!

Michelangelo is a restaurant worth visiting over and over again.
