I don't know about you but for some reason, there's just a priceless feeling when you get to enjoy the city's skyline when you're with your significant other, your best pals or with your family.

I got home from a barkada Christmas party yesterday and we spent the night at a rented rest house at Busay. All of us met for dinner and went up around 9pm. When we arrived and started to drink, we got into a sentimental moment because of the priceless feeling being able to share the view.

Of course, anyone here in Cebu can enjoy the view whichever budget you have and who you're spending the time with. Here are some favorite spots that people like to frequent:

1. Mountain View Nature's Park

Mountain View Nature’s Park is the nearest place in Cebu City where you can get a breath of fresh air. Thanks to this park, people from the city who want to unwind no longer need to travel further. The park is a romantic, clean and refreshing place where you can have a nice walk.

From Mount Busay, you’ll get a magnificent view of the City especially during the night where you can see the city lights. Mountain View offers function halls, a swimming pool, rope course adventures, camping sites, videoke, billiard, table tennis, playgrounds and rooms for rent if you wish to stay overnight. There are also lots of picnic tables that you can use for free. There are restaurants in the park but the good thing is there’s no corkage fee so you can bring your own food. -Philippine Travel Blog

2. Tops

Tops is a very relaxing spot is found in Barangay Malubog, Busay, Cebu City. The route to Tops takes you through some of the city's best sights. Although it might be dizzying for some, the route can be just as fun as as a roller coaster ride because of all the twists and turns you'd make to get to the top. The drive or commute starts at JY Square Mall, a short distance from Waterfront Hotel or Asiatown I.T. Park.  From this tiny mall you take the road north. The moment you feel your ride starting to go uphill then you know you're going the right way.  Shortly after, you'll be greeted by the Marco Polo Hotel. Just follow the road till you get to the very top! The journey takes around 20 minutes from JY Square Mall. At an entrance fee worth P100 per person, you'll get a 180-degree view of the city's skyline and the best time to go is at around 5pm. -OneCebu Blog

3. Temple of Leah

Love made Temple of Leah possible as TeodoricoAdarna, father of actress Ellen Adarna and owner of Queensland motels, offers the construction of the huge edifice to his wife Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. Located along Roosevelt road at Busay, this new attraction is perfect for those who would want to appreciate the structure while checking out their art gallery and museum. This is also perfect for photoshoots of any kind which is gladly for free as of the time of this writing.

As you approach the temple, you will be in awe of the gigantic gold lions at each side of the stairs leading to the entrance. As you enter the doors of the building, the grand staircase will leave your mouth hanging. Although still a work in progress, people get to taste a bit of Rome when they give the Temple of Leah a visit. - EverythingCebu Blog
