Although some people have never been there, the pictures they see and the stories they hear from close friends are enough to convince people to live there soon.

What makes Baguio a great place? Of course, the weather! Compared to the headache-inducing hot weather in other places, Baguio is a lot cooler and a lot more comfortable. Many people like the cold that’s why most houses have air conditioners. Let’s face it; the days are getting hotter and hotter! You can’t even go under the noon sun with a straight face.

The cost of living in Baguio is also a lot more affordable compared to other big cities! You can spend only 80 pesos per meal as long as it is not some expensive restaurant. The transportation fares are quite affordable too however, some people would prefer to walk because they don’t feel tired due to the weather.  You may ride a jeepney, but it is not good for first timers since there are a lot of routes there. If you want, you can rent a jeepney and pay about $20 to the driver. Another good thing about the weather there is that you do not have to use an air conditioner therefore saving so much money on electricity.

Some people also claim that people are calm and friendly compared to other people in the Philippines. Maybe it’s because of the weather again? There’s a big possibility!
