Most people probably think that Siargao Island is only fun for surfers. The “Pipeline” waves in Siargao are not the only wonders this island has to offer.

La Palang Green Mountain Resort is a spot on the uphill of Socorro that consists of three cold spring pools. The very first pool that was open to the public was a tiny one but the coldest among all that will give you chills to your spine. With the small size and (probably) 4-feet in depth, this one is basically just for dipping and chilling. The second pool is perhaps two times bigger than the first one and it is presently the one all people swim in to since it is more spacious and 1-feet deeper than the first one. Here you can swim around or play dodgeball with their beach balls. The third spring pool, which is on progress, is said to be made especially for kids.

The La Palang Green Mountain Resort will also be building up a firing range, wall for wall climbing activities and more awesome amenities. For all of these crazy-exciting nature-filled adventures, you will only have to pay Php35 for your children and Php45 for adults for entrance fees.

More and more exciting things are assembling in this wonderful place which gives everyone more reasons to explore this God-given spot for all to enjoy. There are many ways to reach Socorro. You can either dock or land in Surigao City and catch a boat going to Siargao Island for about 2 hours and another 1 hour trip banca ride to Socorro. But if you get seasickness a lot, you can dock or land in Surigao City, catch a van for hire going to Hayangabon Port which is a 2 hour trip from the city and ride a banca for another hour going to Socorro.
