The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block have been working together on and off for several years now, but now, a subset of those two groups is coming together for a new musical project.
Backstreet's Nick Carter and New Kids' Jordan Knight are joining forces as Nick & Knight, for an album and a tour. The disc will arrive September 2, but if you pre-order it now, you'll get an instant download of one of the songs, called "Just the Two of Us." The tour kicks off September 15 in Nashville, TN. Tickets will go on sale May 3, but there's a pre-sale on May 2 available at NickandKnight.com.
Before that, though, Backstreet Boys have a long set of tour dates kicking off this weekend in Canada, which will keep them on the road through the end of July. New Kids, meanwhile, are touring Europe in May, and will return to the U.S. in June to host their annual fan cruise, sailing out of New York City on June 5.
