It was a rumor last week, but now it's confirmed -- Packers.com reports that Lady Antebellum, Maroon 5 and Kid Rock will all perform at the "NFL Kickoff 2011" Concert, taking place before the Green Bay Packers' September 8 season opener against the New Orleans Saints.  According to Packers.com, the show will take place on a stage adjacent to Lambeau Field and will start at 5:30 p.m. CT/6:30 p.m. ET.

Lawrence Randall, the NFL's director of Kickoff Weekend events, told Packers.com, "We try to bring in the best acts we can.  The NFL has such a diverse audience.  Kid Rock is for rock, Maroon 5 is pop and Lady Antebellum is country."  Randall added, "Kid Rock, we know, is close to the Packers.  He played at the Packers’ party after the Super Bowl."  The theme of the festivities this year is "Back to Football."
