"Little Things" is a song by English-Irish boy band One Direction, from their second studio album Take Me Home (2012). Written by Fiona Bevan and Ed Sheeran and produced by Jake Gosling, it was released as the official second single on 11 November 2012. The track became the group's second song to top the UK Singles Chart.

The song was written by English singer-songwriters Ed Sheeran and Fiona Bevan, and produced by Jake Gosling. In February 2012, One Direction stated interest in working with Sheeran for their second studio album after he gave them the song "Moments" for their debut studio album. In April 2012, Sheeran confirmed in an interview with Dose.ca that they were in contact. In June 2012, Sheeran confirmed that One Direction would be recording two of his songs.

In September 2012, Sheeran told SB.TV, that One Direction’s single, Little Things was coming out soon. It was written about the best things about someone, kind of like the things you wouldn't expect. "Little Things" is one of the two songs that Sheeran contributed to the album. He further described "Little Things" as an "appreciation song," the other track he described as a "kind of a getting-back-together song."
